Scott Vickers, BPhty APAM
Physiotherapist & Co-Owner
Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999 and has specialised in private practice since 2001. He has been a longstanding member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is committed to continuing education, having completed further training including level 1 and level 2 Sports Physiotherapy courses and Western acupuncture and dry needling. Scott has a special interest in sporting injuries and has previously worked with elite level rugby league and soccer teams. More recently he has been involved in treating elite gymnasts and swimmers in the local area. Scott also provides training to several local worksites in ergonomics/manual handling and has completed Level 1 in Occupational Health.
Kate Vickers, BPhty APAM
Physiotherapist & Co-Owner
Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999 and has worked both in hospitals and private practice. Kate enjoys working in the area of pregnancy and post-natal care. Kate is a trained Pilates instructor and has enjoyed delivering Pilates classes since 2010.
Sarah Pittendreigh, BPhty APAM
Sarah graduated with a bachelor of Physiotherapy from James Cook University with a keen interest in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Sarah is an avid sports fanatic and has completed Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy in addition to being Dry Needling accredited. She also has a keen interest in paediatrics having completed Level 1 Paediatric Physiotherapy training. As a current Australian Physiotherapy association member, Sarah is dedicated to furthering her knowledge with contemporary professional development courses.
Dinah Khair, BPhty APAM
Dinah graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University, joining the team from Perth. Dinah believes in taking a holistic approach to injury management with a focus on exercises to help clients reach their maximal potential. She also likes to keep up to date with the most recent research to provide evidenced based practices.
Josh Batchelor is the owner-operator of Jab remedial that was established in 2016. Josh is a fully qualified Australian Natural Therapy Association therapist since 2015 and joins the team at GlidePhysio with a wealth of knowledge about injury prevention, fatigue management, and recovery. He will be working closely with the team to promote holistic health within the community.
Josh’s background is centered around the sporting industry as he has both professional and personal experience. Josh currently works with the Brisbane Lion’s AFL team, as well as many other high-level sports teams and athletes. His own experiences include being a representative for New Zealand in baseball for 5 years.
Techniques used by Josh are myofascial release, as well as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, friction therapy, cupping and flush/relaxation massage.
